Hot Water Boilers!
GasMaster Industries manufactures twenty-six models of high efficiency, stainless steel, condensing boilers and water heaters with nominal rating in the range of 200 - 8000 MBH (= 58.6 - 2344 kW). Models are available in near condensing carbon steel construction as well.
Each model consists of two or more parallel stainless steel coils. These are held in a vertical plane, at a predetermined distance from each other. The volume contained between the conical sections of the coils defines "combustion chamber", while the remaining flat sections of the coils form the "tail pipe" through which the exhaust gases enter the housing. Cold water enters each coil at the perimeter and exits at the center adjacent to the hub. This configuration allows for a counter flow heat exchange process, which maximizes heat transfer between water and the coils.
Operation of the boilers and water heaters is based on the patented radial pulsed technology. Due to the turbulent mode of heat transfer, turbulence in the water flow and direct heating of the coils, the overall heat transfer (thermal) efficiency of the product is in the range of 94.0% - 99.8%, depending on the return water temperature. Gasmaster products have been certified as boilers, water heaters (one pass heating applications), for potable water and swimming pool applications.
All boilers and water heaters incorporate a unique and patented throttle mechanism. Using a high precision, digital temperature controller, the owner selects the desired hot water temperature. By automatically varying the air and gas flow rates; the throttle mechanism ensures that water is continuously delivered within ± 1º F of the desired value. The throttle mechanism almost eliminates the on/off cycles of the boiler and water heater, thus significantly improving the service life of the product, while increasing the efficiency of the overall heat delivery system by eliminating the cold starts. Commercial Pool Heating
The high grade stainless steel used in construction of the heat exchanger, allows the product to be connected directly to the swimming pool, without any concern for material degradation by the chlorinated water. Furthermore, use of a secondary loop and mixing valves, and the associated costs, are eliminated.
Tankless Water Heating
Gasmaster water heaters are certified for potable water applications. In addition, the one pass heating capacity of the product enables it to supply hot water on demand, and on a continuous basis. This feature eliminates the cost of providing a storage tank, associated plumbing, while saving floor space.
The stainless steel construction, ability to produce continuous hot water, and supplying hot water at an accuracy of ± 1 ºF allows the use of Gasmaster water heaters in this application. Again, expensive storage tanks and mixing valves are eliminated, while saving floor space.
Not only Gasmaster water heaters and boilers offer the highest efficiency, they provide higher concentration of CO2 than conventional boilers. This features offers the greenhouse owners significant savings, by eliminating the cost associated with providing excess CO2 which is essential for this industry.
The stainless steel construction and unique combustion technology of Gasmaster boilers and water heaters allows them to be installed for use Bio (digester) gas (e.g. water treatment plants). This offers the owner significant cost savings in both the equipment cost, and energy consumption. In addition, use of Gasmaster products eliminates the periodic (in most cases annual) replacement of the boiler, which is common in the industry due to corrosive nature of the bio gas.
Hot water/Hydronic Heating Combination
The unique operating characteristics of Gasmaster products, allows the same boiler to be used simultaneously for both space heating and hot water (potable water) applications within the same building. This feature offers the owner significant savings in installation cost, while saving floor space.
