Reduce installation cost with insertion flow meters
Insertion type flow meters substantially reduce installation cost and can be installed in pipe sizes from 1-1/2" and all the way up to large ducts. Other features include:
- The Fox Power Pro Sensor is operated at a higher power level than competitive models, resulting in improved response time and wider turndown.
- The sensor is all-welded and is constructed of grade 316 stainless steel or Hastelloy C276 as an option. There are no moving parts.
- The FT2 is field-programmable using the display and configuration panel or a Palm PDA.
- Communications options include RS232 for connecting a Palm Handheld or computer; RS 422/RS485-Modbus, Profibus-DP, DeviceNet and Ethernet.
Inline flow meters are available for 1/4" to 6" pipes and have built-in flow conditioners that reduce the requirement for long straight pipe upstream and down stream.
